How much does it cost?
Counseling is intended to be affordable for the general public. A sliding scale is used to the benefit of many clients. Therefore, fees may vary from $40 to $78 depending on one's gross income. Counselors may be able to accept students and other persons that cannot afford counseling for a minimal amount that will be discussed in session.
 
Do you accept insurance as payment?
Bridging currently has one counselor that accepts insurance company payments. Insurance payments will be more widely acceptend in the future. Right now payments can primarily be made by check or cash. Checks can be made out to Hillcrest Community Services.
 
Do you have evening hours?
Many counselors do hold evening hours. When you are contacted, meeting times will be discussed.
 
If I want marriage counseling do I need to come with my partner?
It is recommended that both parties come for marital counseling. If this is not possible then a Bridging counselor would never refuse service. Counseling is always available for hurting persons.
 
Do you work with children?
We do work with children.
 
Is my story confidential?
YES!� This is one of the fundamental rules of counseling. Your story is kept confidential. Confidentiality provides a safe environment for difficult subjects to be discussed.
 
Does Bridging Provide Mental Health Assessments?
Yes. Bridging has one counselor that currently provides mental health assessments.
