Craig and Dana Mathison are taking their experience as cross-cultural church leaders and are returning to
Europe to help start new churches. They have a rich history of leadership experience in Europe which they will to assist visionary local leaders to build healthy, growing teams that will plant healthy, growing churches across
Europe.
The Mathisons moved to
Barcelona,
Spain in 1985 and planted the first Catalan-speaking Full Gospel church, a church that continues on today. They also started a ministry training school, led an outreach during the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics and served in a variety of leadership roles.
In 1999 the Mathisons were asked to oversee U.S. Assemblies of God operations in
Southeastern Europe. This area includes the war-torn areas of the Balkans including Kosovo and
Bosnia. During this time they also pastored international churches in
Bucharest,
Romania and
Athens,
Greece.
Now the Mathisons have been invited to locate in
Bristol,
UK. They will help develop church-planting teams in the western part of
England. Additionally, the Mathisons will be working with FEIC (Fellowship of European International Churches), a relational network of International Churches.
The Mathisons have three adult children who all live in the
Seattle area.
