Michael and Carol met at Western Washington University through CCF and got married in 1981.  Michael's first year of ministry was 1980-81 when he pioneered the Chi Alpha ministry at the University of Missouri.  The Mowry's have been at Central Washington University directing Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship.  They have three grown boys and they love downhill skiing, backpacking and the Seattle Mariners.

Michael and Carol lead the Chi Alpha ministry at Central where they teach, train interns, do evangelism (mostly with international students), facilitate the Perspectives (World Missions) Class, train all the core facilitators, teach other classes, administrate, direct a staff of two.
