Steve & Tami Barke met as students in CCF at Western Washington University and got married in June of 1989.  They have two children, Cayla who was born in Bellingham in 1993 and will graduate from Pullman High School in 2012 and Ethan who was born in Pullman in 1997 and is a high schooler.

The Barke family moved to Pullman in 1993 (two weeks after Cayla was born) to pioneer Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at Washington State University.  Their ministry vision is to be a family that teaches students what can happen when the people of God live in community and through that to reach the campus with the good news that God is inviting them into relationship with Him.
