Missions Prayer Requests for May 2012

Bellingham Young Life:  Pray for 25 new leaders, for their hearts to grow closer to Jesus and following the lead of the HS, for summer camps as teens join in love, learning to love God with all heart and mind.

Breitenbach, Gene & Lynn-Boston U:  Pray for students and leaders—Samantha, Jessica, Hellen, Michael & Jordan, for incoming freshmen next fall & for Gene & Lynn as they follow God’s will.

Grace and Chris Caudillo-Asia:  As they complete a difficult year in Beijing, they are ready to move to a new country, hoping for Taiwan.  Pray for guidance & suitable opportunities for Grace & Chris.

Jeff David-Lt. America:  Pray for Cuba, that the training Jeff led there will open doors and hearts as the Holy Spirit guides the local pastors.  Pray for renewed strength for Jeff and his family-Barbi and Carissa.

Drs. Jim & Jeanne Lowell-West Indies-Caribbean:  Praise for the over 300 who made decisions for Christ at Easter and Real life outreaches in Springfield Assembly church.  Thanks for the funding to the Bible School building project in the Caribbean School of Theology.  Pray for Dr. Jim as he travels & teaches.

Jack & Adel Rozell, Missionary Renewal (MRAP), Kirkland:  Pray for anointing and wisdom of MRAP Team, for finance to meet needs, for more prayer partners, and healing for Adel.

John & Christa Shaw, Asia:  Praise that John has safely returned from his long training in the jungle.  Praise for the good progress in Christa’s school. Pray for renewal during their return coming in June & July and for a successful fundraiser on June 22nd in Bellingham.

Roman and Janice Stefaniw, Asia:  Praise God as He led the Stefaniws as Bible translators and consultants since 2003. Because of a current controversy regarding how “Son of God” and “Father” are being translated in Muslim contexts, there is a change in the wind. They are not sure what direction this will take, but ask for our prayers over the next months as they follow the Lord and trust in Him.

Bill and Nancy Valley-Mexico:  Well who needs a church to pastor, when you live in Mexico?  Bill can preach on the road home, in open field, or wherever he goes.  God calls, he follows.  Bullets come down, buses break down, persecutions, insults, mobbed, still God protects and Bill follows.  Also praise God for Bill’s wife Nancy who has endured hardships while homeschooling children, then cancer treatments.  With over 50 years in the state of Michoacan Mexico, evangelizing, in unreached towns among conditions as in the “old west” we can only admire and praise God as we pray for this amazing couple.
