While I do provide professional counseling through Bridging Counseling Ministries, I am also the pastor responsible for the oversight of Hillcrest Community Services.  HCS serves individuals who need help through Living Waters, Men Pursuing Purity, Women at the Well, Bridging Counseling, and the Southside Food Bank.  HCS also provides support to victims of domestic violence through the "When Love Hurts" group as well as support for those who are grieving through the "Living Beyond Loss" group.  Another ministry I am leading is the Patoral Care Training Program.  Overall, my responsibilities are the oversight of the recovery minitries within Hillcrest Chapel and outreaching to the larger community.

What is your favorite book of the Bible?
My favorite book of the Bible is Psalms which I read daily.  Here God speaks to me, encourages me, opens my mind and heart more to Him, and reveals Himself to me.

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could travel anywhere in the world it would be first to the Grand Canyon which has long been a desire and to Greece where I would like to eat my way across the country and into Italy, Spain, and oh so many more places.

Where have you been educated and what was your area of focus?
I began my education at Whatcom Community College at 37 years old, moved on to Western Washington University to study Human Services, and finally completed my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in grief and loss.

What kind of music do you listen to?
I love to worship so I listen to mostly faith oriented music, however, I do like some jazz, classical, and most recently, music including djembe drum.

I have been married to my husband Nick for 34 years.
