I'm generally not a person with "favorites," but one thing I like to do is work with Peggy in the kitchen;  I'm sort of her sous chef, which is no small distinction.

 

I love the book of Psalms.  It's amazing to me that someone could engage with God so forcefully, in everything from boundless jubilation to utter dejection.

 

This doesn't exactly answer the question, but I really like that "many cattle" are mentioned in the last verse of Jonah.

 

I loved visitng Grampa Murphy in Wallace, Idaho.  It made me want to live in a place where there were evergreen trees out my back door.  You should see my yard fifty years later.

 

Peggy and I have been married since 1973.  Our first kiss was at the Toppenish City Dump, which happened to be the best place to watch the moonrise over the Yakima Valley.
